In 2013 Nick Baker Architects worked with their residential developer client to upgrade an existing period building of self-contained flats for the rental market. The project saw the internal refurbishment of each unit to include new kitchen and bathroom facilities throughout. These included flush tiled shower trays and bespoke mirrored bathroom furniture.
Muted pastel colours were contrasted with copper tones and black painted metal, against white washed exposed brick walls. Industrial geometric patterns were employed throughout along with playful accessories to create a youthful interior with adaptable furniture.
